Online CalcKit

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2 May 2026

This policy explains how Online CalcKit (onlinecalckit.com), operated by AI Regenesis Ltd, uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by a website. Cookies let sites remember things between visits — your preferences, your login state, the items in your shopping basket. "Similar technologies" includes browser localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags, which serve broadly similar purposes.

What we use today

Online CalcKit uses two pieces of browser storage today, neither of which is a traditional tracking cookie:

  • Region preference — when you choose UK, USA, or EU, the choice is saved in your browser's localStorage under the key onlinecalckit:region. This is stored only on your device, never transmitted to us, and exists purely so we don't ask you again on your next visit.
  • Aggregate analytics via regeninsite.com — we use a lightweight first-party analytics tracker operated by AI Regenesis (the same company that runs Online CalcKit). The tracker collects page-view counts, referring pages, browser type, and approximate location from your IP address. It is completely cookie-less — no cookies are set, no persistent identifier is assigned, and you are not tracked across sessions. See the Privacy Policy section 2.4 for full details.

For the storage above (region preference and analytics), no consent banner is required under UK PECR or EU ePrivacy rules. To clear localStorage, use your browser's site-data settings; to block the analytics tracker, use a content blocker on regeninsite.com. The consent banner described below relates only to advertising cookies.

Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

Online CalcKit uses Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-5603132116160851) to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies on your device for the following purposes:

  • Showing you ads (frequency capping, ad selection).
  • Measuring ad performance for advertisers and for us.
  • Personalising ads based on your activity across sites — only if you give consent where required.
  • Detecting and preventing ad fraud.

For visitors in the UK and EU, we display a consent banner before non-essential AdSense cookies are set. You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your choice; you can also withdraw consent at any time via the same banner.

For details of Google's cookies, see Google's cookies and similar technologies page. You can manage advertising preferences across Google services at google.com/settings/ads.

How to control cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser's settings — most browsers allow you to block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or clear them on a per-site basis. Helpful guides:

Blocking all cookies and localStorage will not prevent the calculators from working — you will simply be asked to choose your region every visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we add or remove cookie-using features (for example, when AdSense is activated). The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. For material changes, we will display a notice on the site before the change takes effect.
